The Persier – 24th March 2019

Starfish are all over the wreckage
More starfish taking over the wreck
Robin checking out the wreckage and finding more starfish
Congor Eel hiding deep within the wreckage behind the boilers
Just a small group of white anenomes with plenty of starfish hanging out around them
More bent up rust exposed since the last winter close to the smaller of the two boilers

It was great to go diving again after a few weeks off due to poor weather conditions. Chosen site was the Persier – vis around 4-5m but with lots of tiny particles in water column – as the photos show. The sea temp at 11c. Sun shone, light winds, calm sea conditions. Very green, not as many fish but this may be due to the time of year. Very enjoyable dive.
